Larry G. Anderson 

Manufacturing Business Management

Founder of Anderson & Associates in 1991, Larry Anderson has over 30 years of manufacturing business management experience.  He provides process improvement and training services to mid-market companies. Prior to starting Anderson & Associates, Mr. Anderson’s manufacturing experience included large company management at General Electric Company, American Standard/Trane, and Snyder General Air Conditioning.

Management responsibilities included Design Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing,  and Pricing and Forecasting. Mr. Anderson’s Mid-market experience includes Research Engineering at Packless Industries and serving as Operations Vice President at both Beckett Corporation and American Excelsior Company.  

Process and Quality Improvement Training

Through Anderson & Associates, Mr. Anderson has concentrated his training activities on process and quality improvement training. While focusing on the mid-market, the training activities have included work with Texas Instruments and JCPenney.  Mid-market consulting clients have ranged from start-up service companies to established manufacturing businesses. 

Improved Profitability and Customer Performance.

Anderson & Associates is currently focusing on ResourceSyncing^TM, a business improvement model utilizing the application of lean manufacturing techniques coupled with enhanced utilization of client information systems (MRP/ERP).  The combined impact of lean waste reduction and alignment of information flow provides client companies with significant improvement in profitability and improved customer performance.

Mr. Anderson serves as a Director of the Southwest Region of The Association for Manufacturing Excellence and as an Examiner for both the Shingo Prize for Manufacturing Excellence and the Texas Award for Performance Excellence.  He holds a BSME degree from Texas Tech University and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
